We use our Discover Card for every transaction possible. Whether it be a fast food drive thru purchase, or recurring monthly bills. I check monthly to see if the few utilities remaining on our list have began to take credit card payments. Every bill we get that provides a method of credit card payment, we use the Discover card.
For maximum benefit we pay our statement in full every month. This makes the cashback bonus a true money maker. If there is a retailer among Discover stores that we are planning on a purchase we will apply some of our bonus to that. Otherwise we credit the balance to our account.
