I love purchasing thru ShopDiscover and earning the special CashBack Bonuses, however I had the most unfortunate experience trying to purchase a Dell laptop thru the ShopDiscover portal last week. Long story short, Dell not only cancelled my order WITHOUT contacting me that there was a problem, Dell then tried to blame Discover Card for the cancellation for not authorizing the purchase “due to Fraud”. On top of this, when I provided proof that Discover had actually indeed authorized the order, Dell would still not honor the original quoted price– and then tried to get me to order a more expensive laptop with their DELL CREDIT CARD. Not cool. Needless to say, Dell has lost a customer.
