Cashback is of No Use

My experience is not good with the cash back. I have used discover card for almost every purchase I did till July 2011. But now I have stopped using it. There are no good offers. Recently my friend used his Chase cash back and got a brand new 42″ LED TV at a huge discount and it was almost the price as on thanks giving day. I have started using Chase credit card as they give 5% on selected merchandise upto $1500 whereas discover is giving for only $300 for this Oct-Dec 2011. Also BOA card gives 3% cash back on gas all the time.
