We, my husband and I, use our Discover card for EVERYTHING! If we buy a $.45 stamp, we use our Discover card. We make sure we sign up for the 5% quarterly and monthly cash back bonus offers as well as us the on-line shopping to build up our cash back bonus. When it comes to birthdays and/or Christmas, if we are short of cash, we order cash back bonus cards to be able to give nice gifts without spending a cent! And, our relatives and friends really appreciate the cards! Especially the Bed, Bath and Beyond cards, where you can buy almost anything!
Lastly, I am not sure if the vendors who deal with Discover realize this, no one can go into the store with a $25. and/or $50. card and just spend that amount! We/they almost always spend more money, bringing the vendor more business.
We LOVE our Discover card.
