We are retired couple in our 70′s living comfortably on pension and social security, so we really don’t “want” for anything. We have established a practice of keeping a “stock” of the various gift cards we have received from the Cashback program for our gifts to my husbands adult children, the mail lady, and the gentleman at the grocery store who saves some of the produce they have set aside to dispose of and instead gives it to us to feed Prairie Dogs which are still trapped within the city, without proper food. He was most appreciative when we would give him a $50 card to one of the nice restaurants where he could take his wife and children for a treat. My husband is always asking what cards we have in “stock” when he thinks of someone needing a gift!
