I love getting cash back and saving it till the end of the year.
I just wish there was like an extra column to show how much each transaction is worth as the month goes along. This way you can see exactly how much you have so far and much each purchase awarded you.
I was just thinking the same thing. This is a good idea.
Just remember that your statement will break it down as to how much you earned for the billing period. Also don’t forget you only start earning the full 1% after you reach $3000.00 and it starts over back to $0 purchases on your anniversary date. So if you are over the $3000.00 then just take your transaction amount and times it by 1% and it will tell you how much you earned! Hope this helped. P.S: Don’t forget you can also get 5% cbb by signing up for the quarterly promotions and if you go to DC.Com you can earn 5%-20% cbb by shopping with online merchants that are linked thourgh the Discover Card website! I agree we need to see the exact bonus amounts on each purchase in a column next to each purchase. This would be easy for Discover to add to statement.
